Rakhi, the thread of the Rakhi is a ribbon usually soft and colorful
satin. The base of the Rakhi could be anything from Resham to Zari or
any other colorful decorative pattern.
These days the trend is to use very
thin ribbon and decorate the centre of Rakhi with small plastic flowers,
crystals or other aesthetically appearing patterns and objects.
Ribbon Thread Rakhi is mostly used in Kids Rakhi as these are extremely
soft to skin. Bright and printed ribbons are used to make them more
appealing to children.
At times, ribbon is also used to decorate the base of the Rakhi. One
