Rakhi Memories
Here is an opportunity for you to express your inner most feelings about Raksha Bandhan festival or share memories of Rakhi. Just write down how the frail thread of Rakhi has touched your life or has help you to make your life more joyous and meaningful. In the meantime enjoy reading the cute sentiments of siblings and their reflections on Rakhi celebrations.

First Rakhi
Rakhi is my favourite festival. I have many fond memories attached with the occasion. We used to live in a joint family and had an immensely pleasurable company of about a score of cousins. I was the eldest brother in the family and all me sisters wished to be the first one to tie Rakhi on my wrist. On one occasion they even took out a chit to ensure fair play. I loved being pampered so much. Now all my cousins have grown up and have settled in their lives but they still compete as to who's Rakhi reaches first to me!
Lots of Love to my loving sisters

Day to express love
Rakhi was the most awaited day for me. It was the day when my big brother used to pamper me to the hilt. After a year full of teasing and pony pulling, it was the day when I had my way entirely. My brother used to surprise me with the best and most expensive gifts. All my demands of chocolates, a long trip on the bike, movie and a treat in my favourite restaurant were dutifully and lovingly filled. He never told me why he used to pamper me so much on this day but I could clearly see it in his eyes. It was his way of telling me how much he loves and cares about me!

Thanks brother for being so nice.

I have collected all the Rakhis
My sister is an extremely creative person and a devoted sister too. Ever since she was five years old, she made it a point to make a Rakhi herself. The first Rakhi that she made was a simple thread decorated with a small toffee. It was extremely special for me. I still have that Rakhi minus the toffee! Thanks to her I still get to wear the most exclusive and ornate Rakhi to the envy of all brothers in the town. I have carefully preserved all Rakhis that she had sent to me. Besides reflecting here extreme talent her Rakhis for me express her deep love and affection for me.
